The Lone Ranger review
Posted : 6 months, 1 week ago on 28 June 2024 11:59 (A review of The Lone Ranger)I grew up watching the original series on TV, and have recently seen replays online. Being too young to know there were good storylines and plots in the tv show, I was surprised recently to see how well the plots played out in the half hour versions. I really had no idea what to expect from this movie, and was just as surprised to see it's a huge winner, and plays towards a "This is what a real life story would likely look like". It was better than the old romance novel ideals, the inlikelyhood that a native American Indian would follow a masked man around helping him solve crimes when they looked like criminals to start with. THIS was a must see movie, but follow closely the relationships, that's the real capper of the tale. Butch the villain, William Fichtener, totally resembles the man whom CNN (or MSNBC?) filmed in an interview in front of the Sandy Hook school after the massacre, to appear as a shaken mourner, shown laughing and cutting up with the camera crew before and after his speech. This gave rise to the conspiracy-belief that the massacre was a phoney set up by the government. That is what's costing Alex Jones his fortune and reputation.
